How long will the chocolates keep after I receive them?
If stored correctly, your chocolate will keep for 6 weeks after purchase. However, this is in ideal conditions: away from strong odours, kept at a temperature between 15 and 19 degrees centigrade, not refrigerated. You need to treat your chocolates with a little loving care to keep them sweet and fresh; alternatively, you could just give in to temptation and eat them quickly.

How long does it take to produce one chocolate?
It would be almost impossible to put a time frame on this, if you take into consideration growing and harvesting the beans, grinding and mixing them, ageing them, making them into chocolate liquid, conching the chocolate liquid, creating the individual chocolates and tempering them. It takes a long time to bring you a box of perfectly balanced, delectable chocolates!

When you say ‘handmade’, does that really mean each one is made completely by hand?
Yes, it does. This is the mark of true gourmet, fine, luxury chocolate: it is hand-crafted by a chocolatier. There is no machine popping out uniform sweets on a production line. In our workshop, the chocolatiers work on each individual chocolate, creating it, enrobing it and decorating it with care, attention and flair. That’s what makes Danucci gourmet handmade chocolates so special.

How do you make the chocolate so smooth?
Our couverture chocolate is silk smooth because of our artisan production methods.
