Chocolate and Coffee
Obviously coffee and chocolates go hand in hand after dinner, but you don’t need a meal to give you the excuse to enjoy this little indulgence. When it comes to gourmet chocolate, properly roasted coffee beans are the only option. Forget tea, fruit teas, herbal teas and their ilk, chocolate calls for a pot of freshly brewed coffee, its deep, roasted aroma filling the room. You can, of course, dip straight into your favourite chocolate to complete the experience, but with coffee we particularly recommend dark chocolate – the darker the better – and dark nut chocolates. The nutty taste of a hazelnut or almond enrobed in silk-smooth dark couverture is elevated to the sublime when partnered with a cup of hot coffee. Try our feuilletine, Almond and hazelnut splinter, Almond praline, Karamba, Hazelnut rosette, Gianduja ganache or any of our single origin chocolates with your coffee, and we think you’ll be converted.
